Where I write.
A few months ago, I started renting a small room at the Marian Center for Non-Profits to use as a dedicated writing space. It costs me only $67/month.
Having a tiny house and a young child, getting quiet time at home to write is nearly impossible. I only get to my studio one or two times a week, but being able to focus without distractions (I don’t get Internet except on my phone) for a few hours restores me somehow.
I know that I’ll most likely never make a red or any other color cent from anything I write, so I’m basically throwing money out the window each month. But so be it. I just love that this studio is in my life.
